DIVO Specialist Training, Georgia State University, Atlanta
Was held October 19 – 23 (Friday – Tuesday), 2007
Format: 
        A five day interactive training program conducted by DIVO practitioners.
        The training was held at Georgia State University’s Indian Creek recreation center.
        The program included:
        Principles of Restorative Justice
        Principles of Defense Initiated Victim Outreach practice
        Capital trial procedure
        Trauma theory
        Interacting with families in crisis

        The training manual for the course was written by noted restorative justice scholar Howard Zehr, Ph.D. 
        from the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at Eastern Mennonite University.
